As a library, we strive to support both teachers and students. We can help you enhance your instruction through technology and innovative activities. See us for ideas in any of the following:

 

Technology Instruction: Would you like to add technology into your classroom? Come see Ms. Ramey for ideas on new sites to enhance your instruction. We can collaborate and co-teach with any content area.

 

Reference Help for any class or topic.

 

Book Carts: We will pull books on any topic for use in your classroom or the library.

 

Library Skills : We can assist your classes and provide instruction on the research process and locating and navigating content. We can do lessons on plagiarism, source citations, locating and using primary sources, as well as evaluating content. 

 

Teacher Websites: Let us help you develop your own personal page for students and parents to access from the Gunnison Schools website. 

 

Collection Development: We are working to build a collection that suppports intructional needs as well as student interest. Please talk to a librarian to add a book to our wishlist.

 

Computer labs and Smartboards: A Smartboard and two instructional areas are available in the library. Sign up on Google or come see a librarian to teach you how.
